Pacroma Cream (Pimecrolimus 1%) is a non-steroidal topical medication designed to treat mild to moderate eczema (atopic dermatitis), particularly in sensitive skin areas like the face, neck, and skin folds. It is an excellent alternative for patients who cannot or do not want to use corticosteroids.

How Pacroma Works:
Pacroma contains pimecrolimus, an immunomodulator that specifically targets inflammatory reactions in the skin. It inhibits T-cell activation and the release of inflammatory cytokines, which are the key triggers for eczema flare-ups. Unlike topical corticosteroids, Pacroma does not cause skin thinning (atrophy), making it safe for prolonged use, especially on delicate skin areas.

Uses of Pacroma Cream:
Pacroma is indicated for:

• Mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in adults and children over 2 years old

• Treatment of inflamed, itchy, red, or thickened skin due to eczema

• Long-term maintenance to prevent eczema flare-ups

• Areas where steroid use is risky (face, neck, skin folds, genitals)
