Poxet 30 mg is an oral medication specifically designed to treat premature ejaculation (PE) in adult men. The active ingredient in Poxet 30 is Dapoxetine, which belongs to a class of drugs known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Unlike other SSRIs used mainly for depression, Dapoxetine has been specially developed and approved for the on-demand treatment of PE.

Premature ejaculation is characterized by ejaculation that occurs with minimal sexual stimulation, often before the man desires, leading to stress, frustration, and interpersonal difficulties. Poxet 30 works by enhancing serotonin activity in the brain, which helps to increase the time to ejaculation, improve control over ejaculation, and enhance overall sexual satisfaction.

Poxet 30 should be taken 1 to 3 hours before anticipated sexual activity, swallowed whole with a glass of water. It is recommended not to take more than one tablet in a 24-hour period. The medication is not intended for continuous daily use but only when needed.
