Staphonex 500 mg Tablet contains Flucloxacillin, a narrow-spectrum beta-lactam antibiotic of the penicillin class. It is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Staphylococcus aureus (including beta-lactamase-producing strains). This includes skin and soft tissue infections, bone infections (osteomyelitis), infected wounds, and diabetic foot ulcers. It is also used in combination therapies for pneumonia and endocarditis.
